Customising your work space in Corel Draw
Customise your work space in Corel
Customising your Work Space in Corel Draw allows for fast, easy design and application.
To start off, lets get the most important tools onto the work space.
In the Tools-Options menu, we suggest you tick the following boxes:
Menu Bar - Relates to the File, Edit, View etc buttons at the top of the workspace.
Status Bar - allows the user to view the color selection, this tool allows shows you if you have any outlines on objects, which is particularly important
if you are working on big scale projects.
Tip - don't use outlines on any output files!
Standard - This allows users to access the Print, Undo/Redo, Wireframe or Enhanced view, Import/Export, Snap tool and Scanner (Acquire) tools.
Property Bar - These tools allow the user to align objects to centre, top, bottom, left and right.
These tools will only be available for use if you have two or more objects on the screen, and only will appear if you have selected the objects
you would like to align. (select one object with the pick tool, hold shift then select the next object- alternatively drag a marquee box around objects you
want to align).
Toolbox - Shows the toolbox on the left hand side of the screen, this is where all our editing and drawing tools sit.
