Metal Combination Techniques

This large metal board combines a few different techniques to get the logo suitable for outdoor weather conditions.

 

The very bright orange here is a cast vinyl material that is self adhesive and over laid onto a baked enamel material known as Colorbond. The large white text is also outdoor graded vinyl letter quality. The lower section is a combo digital print so because the shading color / tints of color are not available in opaque vinyl.

The production team held a design-production meeting with the customers advice so that the sign would suit long term outdoor facing the sun in the afternoon. The smaller 'sage' text, light background and 'barcode' design is printed in outdoor ink and has an additional clear laminate (free of charge, laminate is standard with Aust Signs). The highlight points are just reflections from the indoor lights.

This panel measures 2400 x 1200 Metal back board. The logo was smoothened by the graphic designers suitable for plotter cutting. The digital printing was also color adjusted for CMYK output.
