7 Layers make this sign outstanding.

This sign was made for a interior design client and completed the entire office fitout for their client in Australia.

A brief description of the sign making techniques used to make this signage were:

Layer 1. Laser cut 6mm mild steel. Mild steel was chosen for this project to give the letters a sense of strenght and stability. The photo below shows the letters before next stage coating.

Layer 2. Rear 60mm rear mount pins were welded to the Metal letters. Each letter could be slid into predetermined holes.

Layer 3. A further 6mm Acrylic layer was laser cut to give the edges a glow sideways from top lighting. This also hides the rear mount pins. This specialised technique requires careful planning and knowledge of how laser cutting works.

Layer 4. Bronze coated Metal Letters and rear fittings. We Bronze coat our chrome letters before the next stage. This ensures the bonding of chrome to the metal letters will last for a long time, it reduces pitting and any environmental issues with moisture, dryness etc.

Layer 5. Chrome Plating. The letters were then Chrome plated in the highest gloss rated plating available. The finished result is an amazing silver letter. This sign will be entered into industry awards later this year.

Layer 6. Cut out 6mm Acrylic letters. The reduction in thickness was designed to maintain legibility. If your letters are a thin letterstyle and too thick in depth, the letters may lose their class. The depth of letter here is perfect.

Layer 7. High Gloss Painting. The smaller letters and section of the logo were painted in high gloss car paint. Durable and long lasting, the gloss level and natural paint flow gives these plastic letters a great look.

Installation: This sign remains very easy to put up. Our design team will supply a complete plan of letter spacing, line heights and more to make installing by a handyperson of office member very easy. Tools, Drill, measuring tape, Level. All other fittings are supplied.
