Using blocks to mount
3d letters
We can also laser cut small
rear side clear or colored blocks to lift
the letters further away from the signage
panel. This technique is particularly useful
for indoor signage and office signs where a
down light is applied from a ceiling.
This creates shadows behind
and below the 3d letters and makes the sign
very attractive.
This image shows how small
laser cut blocks are fitted (poly welded) to
the 3d letters and the plastic panel. The
bond is very strong and is completed in 2
processes.
Adding blocks is an extra layer when pricing
laser cut projects in Australia.
