This Laser cut sign was manufactured 1400mm x 450mm x 2 layer.
Signage Description - The reception sign shown above is made from Laser Cut Acrylic (Perspex) panel. Flame polished edges and Laser cut holes to allow positioning of Stand Off pins. The Logo / Letters are also laser cut and reverse colored to give the appearance of an 'Ice Sign'. Down lights help illuminate the sign and create fantastic light angles.

The plan below shows the production planning for the sign.
Stand Off pins are used to sit the background panel of the signage 20mm away from the painted wall.
The Signage panel is 8 mm Clear Acrylic (flame polished edges) with a White reverse applied Self Adhesive Vinyl to give the Acrylic rear coloring. This creates a very highly polished look and appearance.
The letters are laser cut from 10mm Clear Acrylic with a Colored reverse applied Self Adhesive Vinyl cut to 1mm inner contour of the original letter shape. This allows for accurate positioning over the
Laser cut letter.
The appearance achieved is of outstanding quality and uniqueness without losing the impact required for a reception sign.
The layers are combined using a sturdy outdoor grade clear 1.2mm double sided tape, clear plastic welding fluid or heat welded.
In this manner, the letters and the background shapes require no holes or screws to be fitted to each other.
The sign can be installed easily with Stand Off pins into brick, plaster or fabric walls using Wall Mates, Nylon anchors or screws.
The Dome cap system hides all locking systems and can be leveled.

Sizes available - This custom laser cut sign can be manufactured to a maximum size of 2400mm x 1200mm in one piece and up-to 10mm thick Acrylic for the rear panel.
The larger the overall size, the more Stand Off pins should be used.
Recommended maximum 1400mm between Center's.
How we supply - The 2 Layer Laser cut sign is supplied ready for installation by a handyperson. All layers are combined to make a finished sign. No onsite composing is required unless it is of benefit to the client/handyperson. Eg. We may design a sign with hidden fixings, then the handyperson can cover any location pins, screws.
The Stand Off pins and Caps are supplied. Clients to supply own Wall mates, screws depending on the surface to be fitted.

Options - This sign can also be designed to be hung from ceilings and fitted between wall cavities.
Recommendations of thickness - Thickness is vital to design. The smaller the letter, the thinner the thickness should be chosen. Small chunky letters are not easy to read and may suffer from being too 'blobby'.
Thin weight of stroke letters (eg. Helvetica Thin) may also need to be less than 4mm in thickness to give a better readability.
Other design options - see also our techniques of Stand Off Blocks. In this manner, we laser cut small clear, colored or solid acrylic blocks to stand the letters off the wall, the background panel or away from the lower layer.
This is called a 3 Layer or 4 Layer option.
