Using a new sheet of aluminium to make a sign
The picture above and below are made on new sheet aluminium, it will loose it's sheen over about 4 years. After that time, the sign will still look fanstastic, just less metallic looking. If indoors, the sign will always shine.
Standard sheet sizes are 2400 x 1200 x 3mm or 2mm. For smaller sign sizes, the master panel will be trimmed using a guillotine or we may advise laser cutting the shape etc.
Vinyl ontop of the panel is a great way to capture the effect of new material
Both pics here visually show the advantage of aluminium as a signage background, the color and shapes are plotter cut vinyl letters. The vinyl is opaque pvc polymer color, so the different colors are overlaid ontop of each other. Just send in a sketch or fax your logo to us for opinions of sign making techniques available for you.

Another hot looking example of vinyl letters applied directly to the surface. This was for Daylesford in Victoria.
Here, the aluminium is 2mm and a vinyl printed decal is overlaminate onto the surface. The edge is guillotined to size and the decal and panel are married to exact size by the art depart control. The colorful stick figures and free zone we supplied on a disk, then we converted into a pixel print CMYK.
200 of these signs were made giving the customer great cost savings.
