Banner Stand Material What is graphic made from ?

The banner material is Vinyl Polyvinylchloride PVC above 380gsm. Typically, the face panel is between 380-420gsm. The material is a smooth face vinyl with excellent ink acceptance and better consistent tension.

We do not supply paper faces or laminated polypapers such as Polytek, Polyester Grained or Roll BOPP. Using a paper or poly-paper may suffer creases that are never self returning, suffer 'crocodile' creases, tears, curling, rips etc. Ink absorbtion onto these substrates is completely different.

Printing Resolution of the Vinyl Banner option: Twin pass 8 head digital prints give spectacular results. Solvent Based, the ink is suitable for exposure outdoor or indoor facing sunlight in a window.

The spring mechanism inside the stand base allows slight left to right, right to left movement of the graphic panel. This is another reason why to avoid poly papers or laminated substrates.

The design of the slide up opening slit is made for up down movements so that you can carry the unit to and from expo's etc. Plastics do not roll well compared to banner. Video Available

General Use Observations: Since first producing banner stands, we have always allowed a 12mm left and right free space to assist customers with lifting up and rolling down into the shaft a little 'hand' movement. Should you option for laminate or paper, catching the graphic on the side will edge crease the print. Banner will not.
