Use the contact page here for any question The Ideas Centre is not a live chat, however, with lots of us here, it wont take long to get back to you with a more industry experienced answer. We have signwriters, technicians etc that have been making signs for more than 20 years working here at Australia Signs. Another way is to use the secure Contact Us (top right). This will go directly to the sign guys. Also, the front desk of Australia Signs has changed, now, when you call using the Australia Wide Toll Free Phone Number 1800 815 166, you can talk directly with a graphic designer, signwriter, print expert etc. So there is lots of ways to get the signage advice you need. In addition Try using the Search (above). Some one may have already posted and been answered. You can add a new topic or contribute anonymously or signed up. It's easy and it's free.
bronwyn Member	# Reply Hi, With Laser cutting, we use files that are "Vector Art" which means the file is a 'line drawing' rather than a bitmap image. Here at Australia Signs, we draw with a program called Corel Draw. This is the best program becuase it allows us to create large scale work without any errors. We do accept files from Illustrator, in eps, ai, or pdf format. But dont worry! If you dont use or know of these programs and your logo is a jpeg or bitmap image, we can redraw it in the correct format here! And the best part is- we send you the file when the project is complete, so you will have a fantastically drawn logo, suitable for all your signage/printing needs- forever!
