What is Pixel Test ?

What is a Pixel Test?

A pixel test is a small sample of a digital artwork file. We sometimes use pixel tests to show our clients what resolution their artwork can achieve when printed.
By performing the pixel test we make sure our clients get their desired result for their signage.

Bitmap file. Logo quality
Above is a logo that we recieved as a bitmap file- which contains pixels.

To show the client the actual print size, we scale the logo or artwork up to real size, crop it and email it as a jpeg image.

The below image is an example of a 'pixel test', which gives the client the opportunity to view what their artwork will actually look like when printed. They can then choose to have their logo redrawn, or to print as is.
