#FullView 33. QSonline | Satin Fabric | Flag
Looking carefully at the backing fabric, the logo has been printed onto
the satin using a technique called sublimation fabric density printing. Set
up like a normal graphical print file, the print is sub laminated onto the
fabric and pressed under heat into the polymers. This results in a stronger
color than normal. The colors change under heat. The extra vibrancy looks
amazing.

Why the colors look slightly different, if you set the
file with exact pantone or spot colors, the colors may differ due to the
back panel, the heat effects on the ink etc, The colors may not change at
all. Sublimation printing will bring out blues and magentas stronger than
normal printing, however this also an advantage for achieving strong
printing results.

If look at the team on the left and right hand sides, you
can see that this sign is super sized fabric printing. After Steaming it is
recommended that a sign like this is washed in luke warm water. This cloth
sign took up the width of the carpark. Wow, it was a 'biggin'.
