Lift Up Stand
Lift Up Stands are those where the base sits on the ground or carpet and you lift from within the base unit the banner sign upwards. The internal motor
is the same as a normal window roll blind system without the locking motion. A rear pole is mounted to the top bar and the base is fitted to a special double
sided tape within the retractable banner stand unit.
Australia Signs only print onto a smooth vinyl material, not cheap laminated paper or poly substrates. Resolution is set at twin pass
8 head which means approx 150 dpi at offset printing standards, or equals approx 1440 dpi at digital standards. This means great photo resolution and extremely
stable ink systems that can withstand sunlight longer than dye based inks.
Advantages of Digital printing onto banner compared with paper. Longer lasting, more stable, less damage, requires no over laminate to
protect the inks, can be quickly removed and stored for more use over and over. The banner stand skin is completely replaceable with little effort. The lower
fitting base has a special double sided tape that allows you to remove the skin and replace. We also place a double layer over placement tape between the
fitting base and the graphic to prevent any 'lip' catching or edge movement.
Quick Size Comparison: The stand is approximately the size of a typical standard DOOR in your office or home. 2000 mm x 825 mm print.

More on Print Resolution and Banding. Twin passing the digital heads over the print area means less banding. Banding is the slight overlap
seen on cheap prints wherein the ink laydown or technology does not allow ink matching over the previous pass.

photo in their file and the printing equipment and in particular RIP system (RIP is the conversion from pixels to ink dots) allowed high quality. The file
was adjusted for CMYK print with solvent based ink. High quality TOYO inks are used. Everything is printed in Australia in 4 days! Wow.

The stand is two metres high and 825 mm print width wide. The base measures almost 870mm wide. You can choose from Silver Special (anodised
aluminium) or Quick Display (powder coated black). Both models have a silver chrome end cap.
To replace the fittings or graphics, underside the end chrome cap is a small right angle pin that you can insert into the spring wound
system. This will stop the banner stand from retracting and allow you remove and replace the current flexible panel with a new design or skin.
Maintenance. Stands will require maintenance and care. The internal workings are slipped into the end panels. If you knock the spring
out of position, simply remove the end cap and re-slip the pin into position.
